    3. How and why we use information

Depending on the interaction, we may use personal information to:

You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

    4. When information may be shared

We may share relevant information only as reasonably necessary with:

    • providers supporting hosting, learning systems, forms, communications, analytics, security, storage and administration;

    • the public, when you have requested or approved publication in a directory or similar public feature.

Service providers are expected to handle information for the relevant service and subject to applicable safeguards. We do not make a private learner record public merely because the website contains a directory.

    5. Cookies, analytics and connected services

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies needed for functionality, preferences, security and measurement. Services observed on the website include Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Insights. These services may receive technical information such as IP address, device/browser information and page activity according to their own terms and privacy policies.

WhatsApp links take you to a third-party service. Information you send there is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms. You can control many cookies through your browser settings; blocking some technologies may affect website functionality.

    6. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant service, legitimate operational needs, legal or accounting obligations, certification and academic-integrity records, dispute handling and security. Retention periods vary according to the type and purpose of the record.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through public channels.

    7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete personal information, restrict or object to certain use, withdraw consent, or obtain information about how it is handled. Lebanon Law No. 81/2018 and other applicable privacy requirements may govern these rights.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, or where needed for certification, security, accounting or dispute purposes. For deletion instructions, see Account & Profile Deletion.

    8. Information relating to minors

A parent, legal guardian, school or other appropriately authorized adult should provide or authorize personal information relating to a minor. Please do not submit unnecessary details about a child through the public form. If you believe information about a minor was submitted without appropriate authority, contact us so we can review it.

    9. International and online services

Because our services operate online and may involve providers, participants or partners in different countries, information may be processed outside the country where it was collected. Where required, we take steps intended to use appropriate contractual, organizational or other safeguards for such processing.

    10. Questions, requests and policy changes

We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version.

For a privacy question or request, email [email protected]. Please use the subject “Privacy request” and describe what you need without including passwords or payment-card information. Phone and WhatsApp are for general support only and are not formal privacy-request channels.

This policy provides general information about our privacy practices and does not replace program-specific notices or legal advice.
